How the estimate works
- Average weekly wage: your gross weekly earnings, including regular overtime, tips, commissions and pay from a second job at the time of injury (LC §4453).
- Two-thirds: TD is 2/3 of that amount.
- 2026 limits: if your AWW is under $396.92 the rate is $264.61; over $2,646.17 the rate is $1,764.11 (DWC benefits table).
- Partial TD: if you work light duty at reduced pay, you generally get 2/3 of the wage loss instead.
